Abstract
The present paper details a study of the time dependent bending and torsional behavior of glass pultruded composites for different kind of resin. A first part describes the experimental procedure, a four points bending and torsional test devices. The second part proposes the analysis of the results based on Findley model for the prediction of the creep. The purpose of this work is finally to provide to engineer the possibility to integrate in their calculations of such composite structures involving permanent loadings, the time dependant behavior, in order to predict the durability of their constructions. Then glass fibres reinforced polymers will provide a very attractive solution for this kind of structural applications.
